How a Univision anchor found the missing $10,000 portrait that Trump bought with his charity’s money

Last edited Wed Sep 21, 2016, 08:36 PM - Edit history (1)

Acevedo had seen a report that the Doral resort was home to a semi-famous work of art.

Acevedo wanted to see whether the painting was still there, so he had reserved a room. After checking in, and getting a golf-cart ride to his room, he began to wander the quiet halls of the resort, showing a photo of the painting to late-night cleaning staff.

Acevedo went downstairs, to the doorway of the closed-up Champions Bar and Grill. A worker was coming out. He asked, in Spanish, if he could look inside.

And there was the painting. Hung on the wall of the bar.

they included a quick shot of the portrait, crediting Acevedo (without naming him, IIRC). it was a good story, but only two or three minutes long

of course, they aren't giving it anywhere NEAR the blanket coverage the emails/Foundation got for Hillary, the combo of which (plus the faux illness) may well cost her the election

Bernstein said Nixon wasn't in the same league as Trump in terms of the depth and volume of his lying

Bernstein, who knows as much about Nixon's depredations as anyone alive

the he was sentenced for manslaughter, then pardoned, IIRC, but I think that was on the radio today.

Trumpster Mike Tyson on King:

"He's a wretched, slimy, reptilian motherfucker. This is supposed to be my 'black brother' right? He's just a bad man, a real bad man. He would kill his own mother for a dollar. He's ruthless, he's deplorable, he's greedy, and he doesn't know how to love anybody."

you'll 'enjoy' this reddit page:

Don King has killed two men. He shot one in the back who had robbed his illegal gambling house and later stomped an employee to death over $600. He was convicted of murder and later pardoned after Jessie Jackson, Coretta Scott King, and several others wrote letters to Ohio's governor.

we at the present time in this country, have a really some really serious issue(s), when it comes to how the issuance of guns, has a means to justify safety is totally out of whack, when compared to other data around the world, and how there is a national standard in police training around the world, not in this country.
Because coupled with the fact that fear has been used to justify having over 200 million plus guns floating around in this country, and the shoot first answer questions later mentality, to me says that the social fabric is being bastardized to complete the police state, that Nixon wanted.

The police live under a constant threat that if and when they do stop or go to someone house, car, park, wherever, that the ingrained threat now is that every citizen in this country is going to gun them down, because they may have gun.

Then on the other side of the coin we have the citizens living in state of paranoia because the access of that gun is there for the literal taking, the drum beat of words saying that the system cannot keep you safe, is being taken by the means of using that fear of about everything, by politicians, and certain organizations and by a Constitution which specifically states that acquirement of that gun be "regulated" , not unregulated.

I keep thinking of Watts 1965, I was in California living on a air force base when it happened:

In the back ground was Nixon, he was always there, with Reagan attacking the poor and the middle class while governor, speaking about this and that, on race, wages, etc....and then he (Nixon) gained his opening to use his message of redemption because of what was going on in Detroit, and finally Chicago, using race, and war as his under current, and attacking the hippies and yippies as being lawless, blacks being incorrigible, slackers, and his "law and order" mantra of expanding the fear, to justify the end of the means, to continue his con, and to bring that con into the White House.

Now over 50+ plus years later and country is seeing the continuation of the Nixon, Reagan and basic republican mantra being spoken today them, fear, and using fear against everyone that doesn't think like them, the country is now experiencing Herr Dumpfster, and his only platform to be anything that makes him feel important is for him to use fear, bigotry etc. rhetoric to justify what he wants to do to the country, nationalize the police force into a new form of a 21st century gestapo state arm if he is elected, and have the population armed to further the fear, the profit making by the gun industry, and an three organizations using the gun membership to further that fear, by putting men and woman in a position of power, saying that 23 school and teachers lives in essence means nothing, and that every day the following is happening:

http://www.gunviolencearchive.org/

And then to have fraud of a man that has scammed everything that he gets his hands on, getting up on stage, and say that because you are black you some how are to blame for having bad schools, housing, violence, in there lives, they have not pulled themselves up by the proverbial boot straps, to make it in society etc......... with the audacity of saying it to a predominately white audience, to further his inner narcissistic bigoted chant drumming between his ears, that he is right and everyone else is wrong, speaking like a true sociopaths, psychopaths, just like Nixon and others racist before him.
