OFFICIAL THREAD: DEBATE ZINGERS FOR HILLARY

Of course this isn't "official" anything... but it ties in with an old idea to harness some of that DU energy into something to akin to a "think tank" aimed at some specific issues... in this case what could be some memorable if not devastating zingers for the upcoming debate? I'm sure many of us are old enough to remember Loyd Benson's JFK zinger. Dukakis didn't win in 88... but who knows what points the Dem ticket got from a zinger that deflated that pipsqueak dimwit what's his name... only to have it undone when Dukakis blew a question of whether he'd support the death penalty if his wife were raped and murdered.

Given that Trump is both a loose canon and a moron... I suspect any zingers fall into several categories... something to counter one of his unpredictable rants... countering his evasiveness, countering his lies, countering his immaturity...

Any thoughts?

My doctor neighbor show me a really cool trick...

Their minds can only be asked or confronted with something 3 times before the blow a fuse.

1) If you catch them on something, directly confront them.

2) When they try to change the topic... redirect back to the same question/topic.

3) They will try to redirect again, hold their toes to the fire and don't let it happen.

After this third time, they will completely lose their shit.

It's so fun to watch. It's the only way to get back at these types.

The problem is, the MSM and most people, are easily distracted and follow the change of topic. Most people will allow the topic to change, which gives the person an escape from answering the first question. Matt Lauer showed that he is a weak interviewer.

That must not happen! It's very hard to stay focused, but when you do, their heads will start smoking.

During their debate sitting around a table... Scott Brown had his own pre-prepared putdown for Liz Warren... something along the lines that she wasn't a professor and he wasn't her student.

What I really wished Liz Warren had done was put her hand on his arm and said... "Scott, you delivered that line beautifully. How long did you rehearse it?"

39. HILLARY: I want to ask the audience... WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF A LIE???
Fri Sep 23, 2016, 12:40 PM
Sep 2016
The Aug Quinniapiac poll found that only 25% of Trump supporters liked him. 61% WERE VOTING AGAINST HILLARY.

For some time I've thought Hillary has to eat some crow to be seen as more trustworthy.

HILLARY: I want to ask the audience... what's the purpose of a lie? It's to con someone to do something they'd never do if they knew the truth. I admit that in politics there's lots of this... and I bent the truth and have taken the hit for it... and for that I apologize. But, damn it Donald... YOUR ENTIRE CAMPAIGN IS BUILT ON LIES AND DISTORTIONS... and that proves you don't think many would vote for you if you told the truth. When are YOU ever going to apologize? And you can start by apologizing for the lies and innuendo you aimed at President Obama.

HILLARY: I want to ask the audience... what's the purpose of a lie? It's to con someone to do something they'd never do if they knew the truth. I admit that in politics there's way too much dishonesty. Sometimes it's to get a law passed... sometimes just to destroy someone's reputation. After being attacked endlessly by the GOP for the past 10-25 years one gets defensive and I admit I've bent the truth and for that I apologize. I also have paid a big price with my credibility.

But, damn it Donald... YOUR ENTIRE CAMPAIGN IS BUILT ON LIES AND DISTORTIONS... and that proves you don't think many would vote for you if you told the truth. When are YOU ever going to man up and apologize? I think we all know that will be never.
