After all, isn't he the author of the VRA decision which proudly announced the end of racially-based discrimination?

BTW, principle is not partisanship. Excluding a CJ who denies institutional racism from the opening of a museum that hopefully explains that racism is still a major force in the United States is a matter of principle.
