http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/28/opinion/trump-how-could-we.htmlHow in the world do we put a man in the Oval Office who thinks NATO is a shopping mall where the tenants arent paying enough rent to the U.S. landlord?...
I am not enamored of Clintons stale, liberal, centralized view of politics, but she is sane and responsible; shell do her homework, can grow in the job, and might even work well with Republicans, as she did as a senator.
Trump promises change, but change that comes from someone who thinks people who pay taxes are suckers and who thinks he can show up before an audience of 100 million without preparation or real plans and talk about serious issues with no more sophistication than your crazy uncle and expect to get away with it is change the country cant afford.

(82,849 posts)You're so . . . innocent in the ways of the world, aren't you? Things happen, and you just have no earthly idea how things might have come to such a pretty pass. "I think [the Iraq war] was certainly worth doing." That was a nationally-syndicated columnist based at a newspaper that styles itself as THE paper of record.
How did we get Trump? Suck. On. This.

(52 posts)One reason is because a lot of Americans are just stupid. After all, they voted in GWB TWICE, despite the fact that the man couldn't speak a complete sentence to save his life.
Another reason is because they view Trump as someone who "defies" the "PC Police", despite the fact that he has called for the shutdown of media that doesn't agree with him.
It's all just madness.
