Employees at Trump's California golf course say he wanted to fire women who weren't pretty enough

http://www.latimes.com/projects/la-na-pol-trump-women/

Donald Trump wanted only the pretty ones, his employees said.

After the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes opened for play in 2005, its world-famous owner didn’t stop by more than a few times a year to visit the course hugging the coast of the Pacific.

When Trump did visit, the club’s managers went on alert. They scheduled the young, thin, pretty women on staff to work the clubhouse restaurant — because when Trump saw less-attractive women working at his club, according to court records, he wanted them fired.

"I had witnessed Donald Trump tell managers many times while he was visiting the club that restaurant hostesses were 'not pretty enough' and that they should be fired and replaced with more attractive women,” Hayley Strozier, who was director of catering at the club until 2008, said in a sworn declaration.

'Not pretty enough'

Trump told managers to fire restaurant hostesses who were “not pretty enough” and replace them with “more attractive women,” Hayley Strozier, former catering director at the golf club, said in her court declaration.

Initially, Trump gave this command “almost every time” he visited, Strozier said. Managers eventually changed employee schedules “so that the most attractive women were scheduled to work when Mr. Trump was scheduled to be at the club," she said.

What a deplorable piece of human garbage.

he is a man, a man with money and power. He doesn't have to live up to his own standards. I've seen this attitude in men many times over the years. It essentially says that a woman's worth depends solely on her appearance and sexuality. It is a very common standard in Hollywood.

Gender and money - men have used them to control women and set standards. Controlling men who do not have money, often use psychological intimidation and/or physical violence.

The thought of this jackass having to be held accountable for every miserable deed he has done in his life is a delicious morsel. And the hits just keep on coming. I hope more stories like this come out every day until November 8th. I want those who insist on supporting him know exactly who they are endorsing. When this is all done and he loses BIGLY, I hope damage to the Trump brand is like nothing anyone has ever seen!

21. His world view was formed by a racist father and Hugh Heffner

Paraphrased from "The Choice" on PBS FRONTLINE:

This should be no surprise.

Fred Trump taught his children that "winners" and "killers" are the product of superior genetics. He, of course, had the very best genes, and by selecting his second son, Donald, over his first son Fred Jr. to inherit the business, he eliminated a "loser" from the fold. Fred turned to alcohol and suicide.

Donald was sent to a military academy where hazing and cruelty was a virtue. It was there that he learned the value of women from Playboy magazine. While many of us learned some basic anatomy from Hugh Heffner, Donald Trump bought the whole "Playboy Philosophy". Heffner was a frequent guest at Trump gatherings.

Of course, the Playboy creed is based on objectifying young women. His marital history is a reflection of belief that women only have value when they can project a young, skinny, beautiful ideal.

The man commented that he divorced his first wife because he could not find sexual gratification in a woman who had borne three children.

This man-child is damaged goods. His world view began to decline with the neanderthals!

Thu Sep 29, 2016, 03:41 PM

Women were kicked out of their jobs at the end of WWII and forced back into low paying and largely invisible jobs like waitress, teacher, nurse, secretary and maid and as soon as a woman married or heaven forbid, announced she was pregnant, she was out of even that job.

Only unmarried young women were considered worthy of being out in public. The rest of us were expected to retreat into marriage and be ghettoized in the suburbs, out of the sight of men downtown doing Great Things.

50s guys think this is the way the would should be. They don't realize the late 40s and early 50s were an aberration, that women have always worked and that our work has never depended on whether or not we looked like 15 year old supermodels.

The world will be a far better place for all of us when the last 50s guy goes to his eternal reward.

...Dysmorphic Disorder. Afflicted individuals are either normal looking, or quite attractive, yet perceive themselves as hideous or deformed.

With someone like Trump, I cannot help but wonder if there is an dual but opposite disorder where individuals who are not attractive, maybe even flat out fugly, like Trump, perceive themselves as gawd's gift to all wh gaze upon them. If there is such a malady, then Trump surely has it.

What shall we call it? Body Disgusting Delusion?

Especially with the type of money he has.

?

With the combination of above average looks and tons of money, he's used to getting exactly what he wants from men and women.

If you look at a lot of pictures of him, he's got that very entitled "fratboy/Patrick Bateman" vibe.

The problem is he probably still believes he's the fratboy raconteur. He certainly acts like it.
