Rush Limbaugh - don't believe them fact-checkers

RUSH LIMBAUGH: This fact-check technique is the latest. Let me tell you what it really is. There is no fact-checking. The fact that The New York Times, and The Washington Post, and USA Today, and all these other papers and networks now have fact-checkers is for one reason. It allows them to fool you into thinking they have an objective, nonpartisan staff or person analyzing everything the candidates are saying, and telling you what they're saying is true, or what they're saying is false. When in fact the fact-checkers are no different than the biased left-leaning reporters and columnists at these papers and on networks. But the fact-check, the idea that it is a fact-check story is designed to say to you that it is objective and analytically fair, and all it is is a vehicle for them to do opinion journalism under the guise of fairness. Which, if you fall for it, gives it even more power, because if you think that the fact-checkers like PolitiFact or Snopes, or whoever else, if you quote them constantly as the Bible, well then you've fallen for it.

3. I listened to Rush today

Wow, such a con man.

You can hear the persuasion in his voice as he tries to spin everything. I was listening incredulously, and made it about an hour until I had to turn it off.

Conservative radio is better local radio and more entertaining, especially in the mornings and night. If I want to learn I'll listen to NPR, if I want to laugh I'll do conservative radio.

Rush just makes stuff up, it's a bad show.

5. He made a slip up today

During the first hour. I was running an errand so I tuned in.

He was ranting about the media trying to get Trump supporters to bail on him. Rush said it wouldn't happen (they won't - too far gone) unless .... "Trump admits that he's lying to them". Now he might have said "tells them" instead of "admits" but after that statement there was a serious pause. It was like he realized what he just said and was shocked.

I listen to it both for the comedy factor and to hear what the next line of BS is coming out of the right.

He has to spin fool's gold out of bullshit every day, so he recognizes Trump's similar skillset for what it is: con artistry.
