GOP blames Obama for law they just rammed through against his veto; suddenly hate it

http://www.rawstory.com/2016/09/day-after-overriding-veto-congress-expresses-concerned-over-new-september-11-law/

Congress passed the “Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act,” known as JASTA.

It would have allowed to sue Saudi-Arabia for 9/11. Which is geopolitically a dangerous move, so Obama vetoed it.

Except that the Republican-dominated Congress overruled Obama's Veto and passed the law against his objections.

Now, one day later...

A day after a rare overwhelming rejection of a presidential veto, the first during Obama’s eight years in the White House, the Republican leaders of the Senate and House of Representatives opened the door to fixing the law as they blamed Obama, a Democrat, for not consulting them adequately.

Well, look at that. Congress hashes out a law, Congress passes the law, Congress overrides the President's veto and passes the law anyways, and one day later they blame the President for making them pass this law they never really liked all along.

They didn't "ram through" anything. Every single Dem in the Senate voted with them (except for Reid, who voted against for procedural reasons).

Hmmmm, think, think.

As it is, the Republican leadership of Congress has no one they can blame except the President whose veto they just overrode.

*Wham!* *Pow!* *Biff!*
