Sacramento police tried to run over man before shooting him 14 times

Two Sacramento police officers attempted to run over a mentally ill homeless man with their car less than 35 seconds before they shot and killed him, according to recordings released by police this month.

One of the officers said “F--- this guy,” in the frantic final minute before they shot Joseph Mann on Del Paso Boulevard. Moments later, the driver said, “I’m going to hit him.”

This man was clearly executed. This is the first I have heard of this which happened a couple of months ago. I tried to embed the video, but I'm not sure how to do it.

.... we don't see it from every possible vantage point .... and, and he had a gun ... or once knew someone that owned a gun ... or maybe it was a piece of paper ... but they were afraid for their lives (that's their story and they are sticking to it)



We need to attract and retail better educated and a better quality of person as police officers

I was afraid...for my life....
to me translates to be scare in a critical situation, therefore that specific officer should not be allow to be out there in the real world period.

can you imagine our firemen saying I was afraid for my life therefore let it burn/!
