and knowing that so many will be hurt by this storm, especially those who live on the islands.

3. I just arrived in St. Augustine today on a bus tour. Hurricane Matthew is supposed to hit Friday.
We are scheduled to head north Friday morning. Unless they make us evacuate earlier. Picked a bad week for a trip to Fl.

5. Hope they leave earlier.
Otherwise, secure a room at an inland hotel. Third floor is best - not too high or low.

6. Not to change the subject but the Trump ads are non stop here on
Jacksonville TV. Also NRA ads about Benghazi. Haven't seen any Trump ads in Ohio.

7. Hotel room 2nd floor somewhat inland at St Augustine. I wonder if tour company will give refund
if trip cut short.

Glad that you're going to be inland.

9. Unfortunately,
if you live in or visit certain coastal areas, you run the risk of hurricanes.
Am I allowed to dump on all those who thought they were getting the better of those who live where it snows and now live where they are subject to hurricanes? My point here is that I've know far too many people who think they've found paradise because they moved away from Some Northern Place Where it Snows to Some Wonderful Southern Place Where it Doesn't Snow and apparently didn't even bother to notice that things like hurricanes even exist. |
