Help your fellow DUer out: Post when early voting opens in your state, so we can vote Democratic before the lines hit.

9. FL Oct 24 - Nov 6

That site says Oct 29, 2016 to Nov 5, 2016
The mail out from Super of Elections says Oct 24 - Nov 6
That is FL for you, anything to confuse the voter

11. 6 AM on Election Day...

No early voting in NY; no absentee ballots unless you're actually out of town.

14. Are you in MoCo? I have yet to vote early in MD and I'm wondering what the lines are like

I'm in Silver Spring, so the best option for me is the downtown Silver Spring location. But I have to think that's terribly crowded. Have you used any of the other locations in MoCo? Just curious.

15. I'm up in Damascus

There was only 1 person in front of me during the primaries. The polling station isn't too far away from me.

16. Oct 24th in Massachusetts - starting this year

Mass. towns prepare for first-ever early voting

For the first time ever, Massachusetts will hold an early-voting period ahead of the general election in November, giving residents more time to get to the polls but worrying town clerks who must administer the new program.

The early-voting law, signed in 2014 by then-Governor Deval Patrick, requires communities to let residents vote during a 10-day window immediately preceding Election Day during biennial statewide elections. This is the first year Massachusetts will try it out.

18. California starts early in-person voting Oct. 10

which is when they send in the mail-in ballots. I still haven't received my voter guides, but those are usually about the same time.

Judging by the yard signs here the only things going on are the city council and school board elections
