I know that Vermont moved up its primary for Governor and other offices to August because the September date used in the past would not comply with law on when those ballots need to be done. This might imply that no state could change the ballot in October.

Not to mention, there is likely no way the party could disqualify its candidate and make him step down ... and no one has ever called Trump "noble". (Though I can not imagine ANY candidate - not totally ill - stepping down after winning for the good of the party. Not to mention, they would have to believe someone could do better than they could.)

Thus proving your point.

“This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close,” he said. “I apologize if anyone was offended.”

There is a way for the repub's to replace him. But some states it would be almost impossible. Each state would have to agree to change or add the person running. Along with early voting. I'm sure any vote for him would be void if he dropped out.

My only concern is whether he sticks to Republicans for elections to come.
