Seasoned 13-year-old campaign vet stumps for Obama in St. Pete

ST. PETERSBURG --
An 8th grader from St. Petersburg is making big strides this presidential campaign season.

She may look young but she’s serious as she does something with a big impact on the country she lives in.

Spending her free time working for the re-election campaign of President Barack Obama, 13-year-old Mallory Stewart Robinson wouldn’t rather do anything else.

"I manage and make calls myself, but I also ensure everything is running smoothly," the campaign volunteer said.

Stewart Robinson, a girl who just finished her 8th grade year at Bay Point Middle School, is the phone bank captain at the "Obama for America" campaign office in downtown St. Pete.
