Schmidt and Wallace are so smart and rational it's amazing they survived that mostly civil campaign. I wouldn't be completely surprised if they switched parties.

She was one of President Jrs Comms Directors, and used her position to advocate for, and deflect questions about what should be considered outright war crimes. This is maybe Steves pennance for tossing Palin into the national spotlight, and I'll take that for what it is because it wasn't a violation of international law.

Wallace can die in the Hauge alongside Cheney for all I care.

5. Schmidt is a decent guy

Even when I disagree with him he strikes me as someone who honestly wants what is best for the country. I can accept his opposing opinions as valid even if I think he's wrong because he does think things through.
I'm glad to see him calling this spectacle out for what it is.
