Ozark Tea Party board member Inge Marler considers this joke an “ice breaker:”

Ozark Tea Party board member Inge Marler considers this joke an “ice breaker:”

A black kid asks his mom, ‘Mama, what’s a democracy?’
‘Well, son, that be when white folks work every day so us po’ folks can get all our benefits.’
‘But mama, don’t the white folk get mad about that?’
‘They sho do, son. They sho do. And that’s called racism.’

Just for the record: More white people are on welfare than black people.

Did this person deliver the joke wearing blackface followed up by a quaint rendition of Camptown Races? This is as embarrassing to hear as an old Amos and Andy routine of decades ago. Republicans are embarrassing our country before the world.

A rich kid asks his mom, ‘Mama, what’s a democracy?’
‘Well, son, that be when poor folk work every day so us rich folk can have our vacation homes and yachts.’
‘But mama, don’t the poor folk get mad about that?’
‘They sure do, son. They sure do. And that’s called class warfare.’
