Shoot down US drones, say Pakistani groups

Islamabad: An alliance of religious and political parties in Pakistan has asked the government to shoot down US drones that routinely target militants, Xinhua news agency reported.

They warned they would go to the Supreme Court if the government restored the NATO supply line to Afghanistan.

Pakistan had cut the supply line last November to protest the killing of its 24 soldiers in an US airstrike on its border posts.

Talks between Pakistan and the US have not yet succeeded to end the stalemate.

Would any of us think differently if our country was constantly and ruthlessly bombed and threatened by another foreign power's military equipment?

Maybe they're really okay with it? The drone strikes sometimes target militants who attack the Pakistani military, not just the ones attacking our military.

The Pakistani military talks out of so many sides of its mouth it's hard to figure out what it's really up to.

gives Pakistan. As for talking out of many sides of the mouth, the US military isn't exactly known for being honest all the time either.
