Urgent call for action.

By Mussolini's definition, North Dakota is a fascist state. Yesterday, indigenous people and their allies were shot, maced, tasered and assaulted with concussion grenades and eardrum piercing sound cannons. This was all done because Big Oil bought the ND governor and legislature years ago. They are 100% corrupt.

I believe we have a moral imperative to stand with the people of Standing Rock, as well as a pragmatic duty to serve and protect the Missouri river, future generations and the earth herself. The key to this whole issue is President Obama. One phone call from the WH to the US Army Corps of Engineers will stop Dakota Access Pipeline construction and the people and the earth will win a victory for survival. Wall Street is funding DAPL, so there are major forces on the other side. We need protests, rallies and demonstrations across America to win. Every day is precious because the DAPL corporation is trying to finish construction by December 1. The Water Protectors up north are desperately seeking nationwide assistance. Will you help us by taking action in your community?

2. We have an indigenous college in my town.

That makes it easier, because the native Millenials formed a Standing Rock support group months ago and have been sending people, money and supplies to Sacred Stone camp. Last night I asked a friend with contacts to reach out to them. Within the hour, I'll be going on their FB page to make my own contact. My goal is to have a rally with native drumming, singing and prayer as well as speakers, with attendant press releases, personal contact with local media outlets, etc. People in other communities may not have all those advantages, but you are only limited by your own creativity!

6. I think the WH call is a great idea.

Obama is the key to stopping DAPL. But personally, I won't call the Corps. They won't do anything unless we convince Obama to take action. Ditto on Dalrymple, he is a corrupt fascist and cannot be influenced under any circumstance.

I believe action in the streets, nationwide, in combination with money and supplies for Sacred Stone camp is the most effective course.

9. Update on progress over almost two weeks.

On October 27, 2016, I got fighting mad, because of the incredible brutality of the North Dakota government aimed at indigenous people and their allies. I believe I posted something about the need for local action, spread across America, here on DU. Anyway, this is an update on my progress emerging from that horrible Thursday. Our local Standing Rock event will be held on Saturday, November 12. The response from the community has far exceeded my expectations. I link our fb event page below.

Anyway, I am again throwing out a strategic idea here that has proved successful on Keystone: bodies at the WH gates. The key to No DAPL success is Obama. One call from the WH and US Army Corps of Engineers would immediately stop DAPL. I have seen the financial boycott ideas and I applaud them, direct action of any kind is welcome. But I am advocating a focus on Obama because he is the key and pressuring the WH has worked before. So I think this is the best strategy. At the end of our rally on Saturday, I will be calling for people to start organizing a direct action group in our town and the further idea of spreading “Occupy the White House” throughout our region.
