or someone who could point me to that information? I'm going on a full scale boycott and am going to encourage my friends and relatives to do so.
Any help would be awesome.

Plenty to work on. Hope that helps.
I'll check them out.
I know it's a stretch since it wouldn't hurt them financially, but there got to be a way to throw a bolt in their machine.

(38,414 posts)HERE IS WHY.. from the Old DU board..iT IS SHOWN TO PROVE I TRIED IT..
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x533489
.
.I tried it in two places.
.Here and at an old Ed Shultz board..here is what I found out:
Many of the Koch Bros products are made in union shops..Fair wages and benefits.
.
The brothers would like nothing more for an
excuse to drop the unions and go to non union..a successful boycott would be such an excuse..They are so wealthy, it really wouldn't
make such a difference to them, but to those that lost their union jobs, in exchange for cheeper non union workers..well that is
another story...Therefore a boycott is a waste of time, and will hurt those who matter the most
That is what I found out, and I am against it for those reasons..end of rant..(I was schooled on this at the Ed Shultz board by a couple of very knowledgable union guys)

(6,323 posts)Just some information to consider, and good information too. I like Ed and kind of knew a boycott on their products wouldn't make a dent. I was just going to avoid them.
But it sounds like I shouldn't do that.
How are these guys untouchable?

(2,307 posts)they would simply fire people to make up the profit.
But, I get your point.
I look at it this way. The best way we can hurt the Koch Brothers is to reelect President Obama.
That's a given, I was trying to think of more creative ideas. Right now it just feels like sit and watch what happens.
I've dotted my i's and crossed my t's with how I function politically, like knowing the issues and the people running at the local level, while staying as informed as possible at the national level.
But the Koch's seem untouchable, is that what gobs of money buy's these days, outside of your general selection of congress men/women?
I guess I'll keep at it.
