State law rejects a recount in places where the two figures dont match up: a precinct is ineligible to be recounted if the number of ballots to be recounted and the number of ballots issued on election day as shown on the poll list or the computer printout do not match and the difference is not explained to the satisfaction of the board of canvassers, the law says.
What a CLUSTERFUCK.

...even certify their votes for Nov 8th. Machines were likely broken then as well. WTF is going on?

and a publicity stunt, but I've changed my mind. The GOP is reacting like they're guilty as hell, and it's shining a big spotlight on some fundamental voting issues in these states few were talking about. Even if the GOP ultimately squashes this, I think it's worth a fight.
