Poll finds Obama takes significant lead over Romney

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/06/20/poll-finds-obama-takes-significant-lead-over-romney/

US President Barack Obama has opened up a double-digit lead over Mitt Romney in a national poll released Wednesday, even as a majority of respondents say the country is on the wrong track.

Most surveys in recent weeks suggest a tight race for the White House culminating in the November election, but the new Bloomberg National Poll has Obama leading his Republican challenger 53-40 percent among likely voters.

And while the public gives the incumbent low marks on handling the economy, they prefer Obama’s vision over Romney’s for building on the recovery, despite a wave of poor economic data that has emerged in the past month.

Respondents to the June 15-18 poll say they prefer Obama’s vision over Romney’s by 49-33 percent, up seven points since March, when the Republican nominee had yet to be decided.

Now imagine for a second if a poll came out showing Romney 13 points ahead. The media would have a collective orgasm and it would be the top story of the day.

Even though many folks still claim that the media is liberal. But that conclusion is impossible to arrive at when you see Romney being pumped up by the media on a daily basis.

The media is corporate-controlled. Most of them are gonna be cheering for the corporate-backed candidate, the candidate with billionaire-funded super pacs.

But I do search a lot of news articles while I'm at work. This poll is nowhere near being a top news story.

I know there's a lot of stupid Americans out there that would vote for Romney just because he's not Obama, but certainly nowhere near a majority.

but none of that matters. Only the swing states really count and it seems Pres. Obama has a strong lead in the majority of them. Rmoney doesn't seem to have a viable path to 270.
