BREAKING!!! Hypocrite Bans Guns At Inauguration
Donald Dump made the defense of “the Second Amendment” one of his central platform pieces, telling his naive and gullible fans that President Obama and Hillary Clinton were coming to take their guns and that the Second Amendment was “under siege.” He vowed to expand gun rights across the United States, declaring that “I’m going to get rid of gun-free zones on military bases and I’m also going to do it in schools” and to legalize weapon carry in all 50 states.
But the rules for the January 20th inauguration were just released, and the hypocrisy couldn’t be more obvious. ![]()

Disarmed Marines” at Inauguration Debunked
By Gordon Duff, Senior Editor on February 25, 2013 Numerous Blogs Duped into Carrying Right Wing Inauguration Hoax “Terrified President” walks inaugural route…again by Gordon Duff, Senior Editor — The story is simple, a terrified President Obama had the crack Marine unit from the “8th and I Barracks” disarmed because he feared they would assassinate him while he stood on the dais reviewing the inauguration parade. The truth is simple, even the police had inert weapons, just as they had in every inauguration in the past, police, all military, everyone but the secret service. We checked, we called, it took five minutes. The press statement from the Secret Service is copied below. Now the shoe is on the other foot, we are looking for a reason for this hoax and those who worked hard to damage the Marine Corp and the President by lying to the public. http://www.veteranstoday.com/2013/02/25/disarmed-marines-at-inauguration-debunked/ [img] ![]() |

Firearms law in Washington DC is determined by the Mayor and City Council, not the President.
No President can issue an executive order to change those laws. The Secret Service and the Capitol police department determine what is and is not allowed at a major event. By the way, Trump isn't President yet and so has no authority to change any of which you posted and will have zero power to change Washington DC's firearms laws when he is sworn in. |

35. Moot point
As DC's permit issue is under a court ordered stay, it is likely less than 100 civilians have carry permits there. Forty-four was the only number I could find. DC does not recognize any state's permits as valid for concealed carry and open carry is prohibited. Therefore this rule applies to only those forty-four or so people.
The 'weapons of any kind' rule will be far more wide reaching. It could be stretched to include such items as mace and pocket knives. Definitely leave the nunchaku and throwing stars at home. |

All the humorless barrel strokers and NRA hair-spliters. WAY TOO FUNNY
The title should be: Donald Dump refuses to countermand (insert who controls him here), will not allow 2nd Amendment expression at Inauguration Better now? LOL Gizmodo reports: Donald Trump will be sworn in as President of the United States on January 20th! And if you plan to attend the festivities in Washington DC you should be aware of some ground rules. Rule number one: No explosives. The transition team has drawn up a list of banned items. For instance, you can’t bring drones, selfie sticks, or guns. Which all sounds a bit like 1984, if you ask me. I thought Trump was supposed to be the candidate of freedom. More like the candidate of taking our guns away, amirite? At least it looks like vapes aren’t included on the verboten list. Which should make Grover Norquist pretty happy. And it makes sense to ban bicycles, since only granola-gulping, latte-sipping pinkos ride bikes. But why does Trump gotta take away all our fun toys like selfie sticks and firearms? |
