Shame on you, NBC

Living in Central time zone, we switched to NBC which did the "countdown" from Chicago. Navy Pier, I think. And after the 3..2..1 Happy New Year, the camera panned around and stayed on a building with the letters T R U M P clearly visible.

Almost gagged on my champagne.

My life is so much better now that I don't watch network (corporate) or cable (corporate) tv. Apparently there are now ways that the networks can tell how many people are -- or aren't -- watching them. If someone can confirm that to be true, it would make me feel even better about never tuning in to their crap.

in Chicago where comedians roasted 2016 ! It included trump jokes and about what a rotten year it was for many reasons to roast
