I just sent President Obama an email

I asked him to give Hilary a pardon on his very last day, not because she has done wrong, but for the good of our country to keep her from being used as a pawn whenever Trump needs to distract us. I can see Trump getting in trouble and suddenly finding more emails that have to be investigated. It probably won't work, but I tried.

We have 19 days left if anyone has anything they want to tell him. He reads 10 emails a day on video to stay in touch with us.

I have been critical of Hillary at various times on DU which angered many of her supporters. But you do not pardon people for crimes they never committed. That would play into the BS GOP narrative. She did nothing wrong!

I'm concerned with her having to defend herself in court for no reason other than Trump wants a distraction. I hope she is able to enjoy the rest of her life in peace rather than constantly worry about more special investigations.

Ford pardoned Nixon for the good of the country. Yes, he had done wrong, but not been convicted. I don't want to see her constantly used every time Trump needs to distract us from what he is doing. I can see him starting more investigations whenever it pleases him. I do not trust him to not harass her constantly. That is why.

I think one of his lackeys (Spicer) was calling for more investigations of her emails just today. When drumpf does something stupid, they will try to deflect attention away from him by attacking Hillary all over again.

by the mass chaos, destruction and violence/war that will be coming at us daily when you know who takes over.

Hillary will be fine on her own...Our chance to make her president was election day but thousands or even millions of alleged progressives voted 3rd party or not at all or whined and complained constantly about how untrustworthy Hillary was.

We blew it, we had our chance. Now comes the avalanche of damage.

Actually a republican gave me the idea for this and said all the reps are afraid Obama will pardon her before Trump can take office and charge her.

I've never thought she was guilty of wrongdoing, but having to fight false charges is expensive and a drain on a person physically.

the president does not have the power to charge anyone with a crime so there's no reason to say Trump would do that.

Hillary has not been indicted, much less convicted, of any crimes after 20+ years of the right trying to dig up dirt. Obama issuing a pardon for some vague reason would only feed their belief that she's guilty of something.

The reps ate it up. He may not be able to charge her himself, but he can have Sessions start another investigation. Same difference to me because she will be fighting a battle she will never be able to win in their eyes no matter how innocent she is.

They all believe 100% she is guilty so not pardoning her is not doing anything but leaving a target on her back. Honestly, the more I think about it, pardoning won't help either. Some psycho will decide to come after her and kill her. We are in a very bad place with all these people worked up into a frenzy.

His tax records come out? Better look at those emails again.
Someone finally connects the dots to Putin with real evidence he owes Putin money? New emails will appear..

It is not that she is guilty, it is the fact that she will be a hostage to be used as a distraction for him. He said himself several times he doesn't WANT to prosecute her.. See what I did? He doesn't WANT to do to do that.. but he may HAVE to do that if he finds more "evidence" is what he is really saying.

One thing I have learned is that you can never trust Trump.

1. Clinton getting punished in some way fires up his followers and makes them happy

2. She got nearly 3 million more votes than he did so he is going to carry that grudge

3. She is an easy distraction to sacrifice if he gets in trouble himself. I used to think Bill blew something up when he needed a distraction which may or may not have been true, but all Trump has to do is throw some fuel on the fires they've been trying to roast Hilary over.

Her future in politics doesn't matter to him, it's all about him.

Seems like a good reason to me considering it is really hard to be constantly worried about having to prove you are innocent over something that has already been investigated to death.

But whatever.

I can't endorse it.

She has been investigated for 30 years and they haven't found anything to charge her with yet...pretty suspicious if babyhands finds something in the first few days.

You do realize that imprisoning political adversaries is fascism? And yes. We are there.
If this is their plan, it doesn't matter what Obama does.

It is just a bad idea overall.

I looked for a video of just him talking about how he doesn't WANT to prosecute here anymore which is emphasis on "want", the way he says it.. All the youtubers I found it on were disgusting reps and they are sure that he is only saying this to keep President Obama from pardoning her before he leaves office. The reps I know in real life say the same thing. That is something I can see him doing.

Considering the website said Obama gets something like 10K emails a day, he probably won't even see it so don't worry about not endorsing it, lol. I feel the way I do though and I do not want her to be investigated another single day.

I'm not familiar with him except the knowledge that the judge made Jones pay her lawyers first out of her settlement and got little for herself.

#1 Because we know that Trump will not be impeached by a house and Senate controlled by Republicans

#2 It would permanently taint Trump as being the only President ever pardoned for treason.

Trump would then be constantly on the defense, and be forced to be recipient of Obama's generosity.
