Trump supporters at the water park today

I was at the Great Wolf Lodge in Fitchburg, MA today when two Trump supporters strolled in with their kids.

How did I know they were Trump supporters? I'm going to try to be as impartial as I can here and report without judgment.

The husband, a stocky, crewcutted, grey-haired man of 50, had a "Hillary for Prison" shirt on. The back read "Infowars.com." So, you know where his mindset is. Can't celebrate the Trump win without trying to urinate on Hillary, oh no. The anger never stops from these people.

The wife, a rat-faced blonde (I said I would be impartial but she looked like a rodent character from the "Arthur the Aardvark" books I used to read my kids) had a "Trump is President - Deal With It" t-shirt on. She literally looked like a teenager - gosh, I guess these Trump fans can't attract women their own age - and peered suspiciously about as they set their bags down. Because ISIS is going to attack. Without Trump physically present to protect them, because Obama has done shit for us, of course.

As I watched them I observed the husband yelling angrily at his kids, complaining to the staff about something (too far off but I saw a lot of angry gestures and pointing at something that displeased him) and - at one point - seeming to be about to butt in line in front of me and my kids at the lunch counter. He was hanging by the side trying to get the clerk's attention and I was about to grimly tell him: "This is the line. GET IN BACK!" with as much fury as his behavior merited. Turned out dipshit wanted to know where the men's room was. Right next to us, as it turned out. Fucking stupid.

I am honestly not putting my bias into this post. Both of them, with their angry glares, suspicious glances, and negative interactions, were perfect Trump supporters. The ONLY positive thing I saw out of the two of them was when the wife must have announced she was heading off elsewhere and they kissed goodbye.

But why wouldn't they? They're two peas in a pod of hatred, judgment and censure!

Enjoy your little t-shirts, folks. Once Asshole gets elected we're rolling up our sleeves and stopping him on all fronts. Countering the lies. Blocking the nonsense. Getting the word out on exactly what he's doing. Not trying to reach the alt-right Breitbart asswipes (they're unreachable) but the ones who will help us bring justice in 2018 and 2020.

And in the end, fuckers, your little t-shirts will be abandoned. You won't dare to wear those out in public after the shit-show of Trump is done.

I guarantee it.

I mean, They Won.

Why aren't they happy?

I was always happy whenever my candidate won. Always.

They are still so fucking angry. They trot around internet forums gloating about how they "love the taste of liberal tears," but every post reeks of desperate unhappiness. The gloating doesn't mean shit to me; it's the fact they are still so MAD about everything.

And when Hillary doesn't go to prison (gee, you need to commit an actual crime to go to the Big House), the asshole I described won't blame Trump. Oh, no. The liberals somehow protected her. And so on and so forth.

Hate radio and conspiracy theory radio have warped their minds. It's not the president who they should be angry at, it's Congress. Trump said he wanted to "drain the swamp", but he just appointed a whole cabinet of billionaires who are going to loot, pillage and sell off to the highest bidder, while Congress is going to do a whole lot of untold damage, especially if FADA passes. It's not the president, the courts and Congress are the ones who are going to do the most damage under Trump. These assholes wanted a "Washington outsider" (whatever that means ), and they're going to see first hand how much damage a Washington outsider is going to do.

No idea how a water park is an option up north at this time of year, but whatever.

If I were to be at a water park up north at this time of year, I imagine I would be annoyed also. But I could not give a fuck what t-shirt anyone had on.

I'm just tired of these silly stories. Sorry.

Not all Trump voters are like those people.

Arguing that they're the same because they still voted for Trump despite the hate-filled, racist messaging doesn't work for me because I've seen too many people vote for people with particular ideas/messages they dislike, but only because there's some quality of the opposing candidate they dislike more. It's sometimes for very self-centered reasons, like "single issue" gun rights and anti-abortion folks, but that's not surprising either given how far too many people think. For crying out loud, there's people who choose to believe the "prosperity gospel" (that God rewards his most faithful with Earthly riches) despite several passages attributed to Jesus that contradict it. They elevate some passages (messages) and largely ignore others because they want to have their cake and eat it too!

EDIT: Going after non-voters might be the best bet, though.
