Technically, it's not a lie if you're simply ignorant.

But, it could be argued that stupidity and ignorance are far more dangerous than lying on purpose.

We're in luck because he has no filters, no where to hide. It all comes out in the tweets. If you can embarrass and correct Trump with "real" news and facts, you might have a chance to do the same to the right-wing news consumer.

they've been trained to filter out annoying facts and figures and petty shit like that. They won't trust anything in the M$M.

Trick will be to keep the real media on his ass about this. His hardcore supporters won't flip, but anybody who went Trump as a protest vote might start to notice.

I think, that in my lifetime, I will never see this country come together. It's all about winning the high ground with the truth. And once we get that high ground, we need to have leaders who will stop being nice and complacent with the nuts on the other side of the aisle.

we don't need to win over every Trump voter out there - if 1 or 2 Trump voters out of 100 had flipped in key precincts, it would have been an electoral landslide for Clinton.

It is the HATCHBACK model, which began U.S. sales in October 2016, which is made in Mexico.

The standard Cruze is made in Lordstown, Ohio, but the Hatchback model, which has been around for several years outside the U.S. - is just now beginning to flow into the U. S. market with deliveries that began in October 2106. And all those Hatchbacks are coming duty free from Mexico, thanks to NAFTA.

- I'm a Michigander who keeps track and only buys U.S. built (final assembly) cars.

I can't buy a hatchback for NAFTA allergy reasons.

will win elections for a very long time.

I'm no fan of Herr Gropenfuhrer, but if he goes after our trade deals,
and the rest of the republicans support him, the R's will hold congress
for a very long time.
We all know that the rest of the R's won't support him and that's good
for us Dems, otherwise we'd be in serious hurt.

Now, does Chevy make the Cruze in Mexico? YES
Does Chevy sell Cruze's built in Mexico in the U.S.? YES
Does Chevy sell Mexican made Cruze's in U.S. tax free?
Don't know, but I'd believe this is correct, because GM's statement
did not refute this claim. (A non-denial denial)

GM builds the Chevrolet Cruze hatchback for global markets in
Mexico, with a small number sold in the U.S."

Where did Herr Gropenfuhrer lie?
I don't believe he did and the Democrats better support going after these unfair
trade deals, or it will be a long time till Dems are in control of congress.

read the 3rd line of the gm response you posted

trump said "mexican made model" and gm says they DO make the hatchback model of that car in mexico.

another poster (a few upthread) added that the hatchbacks that gm brings into the us from mexico ARE NOT paying a border tax to bring them in

how is trump wrong on this one? can't we stick to shit he's REALLY wrong about? i mean, there is just so much of that
