Megyn Kelly Is Said to Be Leaving Fox News for NBC

Megyn Kelly, who arrived at Fox News 12 years ago as a television news neophyte but rose to become one of its two biggest stars, has decided to leave the network to take on a broad new role at NBC News for an undisclosed amount, people briefed on the negotiations said on Tuesday.

The NBC News chairman, Andrew Lack, wooed Ms. Kelly away from Fox News by offering her a triple role in which she will host her own daytime news and discussion program, anchor an in-depth Sunday night news show and take regular part in the network’s special political programming and other big-event coverage.

The move will herald a seismic shift in the cable news landscape, where Ms. Kelly had become the second-most watched host — after Bill O’Reilly of Fox News — and often helped define the national political debate, especially over the last year as Donald J. Trump regularly attacked her, at times in viciously personal terms.

Ms. Kelly’s departure would upend Fox News’s vaunted prime-time lineup and inject a new dose of tumult just a few months after the departure of the network’s powerful founding chairman, Roger Ailes, who was ousted after several women made allegations that he sexually harassed them.

let's face it, as vile as Fox News is, a real heavy lifting in the 2016 election was done by NBC, including MSNBC. Why should I be surprised that Ms. Kelly, even as she keeps counting the Republican agenda,, the same one that enabled folks like Trump and Ailes to treat her as a second-class citizen, would find a home at NBC. After all let's not forget NBC has an employee in a Donald Trump, who will apparently still be producing the apprentice, even as he does stuff like risk making enemies of the Chinese.

You'll fit right in Megyn, the way that Mafia members fit into San Quentin.

that the "email investigation had been reopened". That was a LIE. They then paraded every right wing politician across their screen to propagate that lie. After about an hour, the other so-called news outlets joined suit

where frankly, I look for the damaging stuff to come out of the MSNBC news room instead of the Fox one. The puppet masters know
that people poor in this "independent" category of voters will share the name Fox and assume that it is part of the right wing. NBC is more like the spy that charms you,, buys you drinks, and then leaves you waking up in some strange hotel room with your wallet missing. In other words, NBC is the candy coating or the poison.
