Remember the 10% ??

After 9/11, DU was part of the 10% of Americans that disagreed with the lies of GWB and the invasion of Iraq.

Are we going to be placed in a similar situation once again with Donald Trump? Are we the Democrats that will be left to defend our rights and principles against Trump and his corporate cronies?

Hopefully, we will have more than 10% with us this time around? I never thought I would see such a time again.

proclamation about Bin Laden.

That was around the same time that polls showed a HUGE jump in his approval ratings, around 90%.

However, it didn't take long at all for me to absolutely hate Dumbya and his gang again! It only took a few days!

Once I saw the slow and tepid pursuit of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan with just a few thousand soldiers, and I heard the anti-Iraq rhetoric in relation to 9/11 (despite no connection), it was obvious that his administration's main concern was revenge for Bush Sr. and the pursuit of the corporate-welfare, military-industrial complex, imperialist "Partnership for a New American Century" agenda.

I was so angry on 9/11 that I was almost one of the people who visited a military recruiter that day! Thank goodness that I first decided to see how Dumbya decided to handle it! I already knew that he was an idiot and a corporate shill, after all.

do you carry a buckeye in your pocket for good luck? I remember when I was a kid it was considered a good luck charm.

I still have some tendencies, like being tempted to not watch the Ohio State football team because "they seem to play better when I don't watch!" and that sort of thing. I immediately know it's ridiculous, though.

Speaking of them, it's probably a good thing that they were beat so badly by Clemson! They're finally replacing their QB coach and offensive coordinator!!

Many Nebraska fans were perplexed that tOSU hired Tim Beck (after Tom Herman left) because they thought their QB's regressed under him, and the play-calling upset many of them too. I saw the same problem at tOSU immediately. It's hard to convince other fans when a team mostly keeps winning, though. Lots of people don't seem to use their own eyes as long as the team keeps winning, making statements like "In Urban I trust!"

Imagine how the narrative of the Presidential election would have been vastly different if Hillary had eked out an EC win instead.
