and the price had gone up about .30 cents a gallon since the last time I had gotten gas.
Is gasoline going up in other places besides Colorado?
If there is one single consumer product that affects the working man more than any other, day in and day out, it is the price of gasoline.
What is causing this hike in prices?

(21,552 posts)The key reason for the price increases is the November decision by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries to pare back oil production, and the groups subsequent success in convincing Russia and several other major oil producers to do the same. On Tuesday, a barrel of benchmark U.S. crude closed at $52.49, down $1.24 a barrel or 2.31%.

(2,955 posts)I own a bunch of British Petroleum stock, and I've had it go up a ton lately. I loaded up when oil prices were low and big oil was suffering. I pay a little more at the pump and meanwhile my portfolio goes up thousands.
