Calling the Republican approval of Putin's hacking "treason" isn't effective.

People tune it out, just like they tune out Hitler comparisons. I think it's a better framing to go after Putin as someone who has desecrated America. He's spitting on the flag. He's helping himself to messing with our computers and probably our phones and other devices.

Attacking Putin as besmirching America is the way to go. Make him look like the smirking, short-man-syndrome, butt plug that he is. Then, attack Republicans at will as "defending" Putin. Republicans, not just Trump.

Putin's the one to attack.
