I'm on my phone so this will be far more truncated here than in my head. When I get to a decent keyboard, I will add thoughts. Hopefully, you will to.
The daily Trump outrages and the way we are being conditioned to fight tRump on everything, every day, is fatiguing and eventually we will become numb.
Have you noticed, though, how quiet the rest of the swamp monsters are? I've noticed and that concerns me more than the carnival barker who believes himself President.
It feels like a similar shell game to the one in the Cheney/Bush Era, only on steroids. And here's the thing, I can't keep up with it all and stay functional.
Quick suggestion. How about if we make a list of the people we need to watch closely: Priebus, Bannon, Sessions, and every other cabinet level appointee and have people sign up to be that person's daily watcher and report as necessary so we can keep a close eye on the swamp without drowning.
I want us to be able to work fast like we did when they just tried to gut the ethics committee. Making it a manageable task by assigning willing watchers seems like a good idea.
What do you guys think?

I'm glad Keith Olbermann has returned to political commentary, at least at his GQ forum.
And pressure needs to build about restoring the fairness doctrine.

(50,236 posts)Other swamp monsters are riding the current investment wave. In the morning Der Fuhrer trashes a company. Stocks drop, alligator buys. Next morning Der Fuhrer trashes a company. Stocks drop, alligator buys. Then alligator sells the previous day's holdings because they've recovered. Of course, back down in Peonville, home mortgages just went up half a percentage point and gas prices are up 18 cents just this week.
