What part of ACA was "repealed"?

Repubs rushed to announce that they were going to repeal Obamacare as their very first action,

But today, I read that nobody covered by the ACA will lose their coverage before 2019?

If that is true, what did they repeal??

Repeal Obama's legacy. They will tweak a few things and rename it Trumpcare. They can't stand that a successful program is named after a black man.

It is why when people are polled and the question asked calls the act the ACA or Affordable Care Act conservatives generally approve of it but when they call it Obamacare conservatives disapprove of the Act.

The hatred for such a successful and popular program stems largely out of the hatred of our black president.

It's red meat for the voters who hated ACA and didn't even know what they didn't like, except it was landmark legislation from President Blackenstein.

If it came about because of Obama, they hated it. It didn't matter whether they knew what they did or didn't like.

So the "repeal it" mantra is required speech for that crowd.

They will still screw this up, though.

5. So 70+ pointless token votes to repeal but once they have the power to actually DO something....

I don't think they've done anything yet - so no one knows what whatever they ultimately do will look like.

That means the purchase mandates/fines for employers and employees who don't participate. it doesn't affect current participants because this year is already funded.

What I'm unclear of is if this will effect 2018's subsidies. Which, since it's an election year, seems like it would be pretty stupid of them if it did.

Essentially giving them that period of time to transition to whatever disaster of a plan they want to put in its place.

It's like an eviction notice, it has an effective date and until then you live there like normal.

15. it also has to go to the Senate and I hear there is a "debate" as to whether it should be 2019 or 20

so as to get through the next election before something unpopular takes place. Assholes.

I also second the notion they will change a comma or something and pass it as Trumpcare.

We need to call people out when they say libtard and that we are misinformed. Cite those polls that GOP voters support ACA but not Obamacare. It makes me crazy every time I think about it.
