They have been foaming at the mouth for this for years. A rethug Congress,
a rethug SC, and a rethug (albeit criminally dysfunctional) Executive Branch.
I hope we can make it through the next four years.

but I'm a nobody... maybe I can feed a bear or two when I kick it. A war correspondent friend and I were talking about this last week and to my surprise they brought up my own - of which they had no idea - parting plan to just take a long walk into the wilderness and feed whatever is out there. We were speculating about whether either or both of us will be making that move in the next couple years.

I don't know if my 90 yo mom will survive it but my intention is to outlive her, after that, I have little desire to stick around and watch everything I have fought and worked for destroyed around me like the walls of Jericho. Yes, I have siblings and their young whom I love dearly but I am getting old and don't want them to have me as a burden when they are doing all they can to survive. I have health issues that will only get worse so I don't want to be that albatross.
