Not just this election cycle but during his world wide "investment" travels to questionable interests in questionable countries years ongoing.
Does our intelligence community have more on this moron then they are letting on?

(89,241 posts)Anyone doing business with the Russians is monitored. I would say both the US and UK have info on him.
I would say the question is to what level he has been "monitored".

(28,136 posts)When will they out him?
I suspect if Donny tries to cut departments and slim down the force then that would trigger some shit to hit the fan.

(7,997 posts)I wouldn't be surprised. There were several in the intelligence community who urged people to vote for Hillary, and that's quite unusual.

(7,820 posts)And I will say this. Even Presidents of the United States would be wise not to cross the intelligence community.

(7,133 posts)That Russian intel has tons of kompromat on PE Tramp from his days fondling Russian beauty queens, his financial dealings with sinister Russian & Central Asian mobsters, and so on.
(Trump is spelled Трамп in Russian, which coming back into the Latin alphabet spells out as Tramp, lol)

(46,038 posts)And there's a file in the CIA as well.
This is what they do and they accelerated the information gathering once he declared his candidacy. They aren't going to tip their hands until they need to.

(5,997 posts)You can bet the intelligence agencies know all about Trump's financial ties to the Russian oligarchs and the connections to the campaign. So does Obama. And now Trump.
Obama launched a major initiative to identify all the tentacles of Putin's kleptocratic empire. This would have easily included investments and loans to Trump's enterprises as well as Tillerson's ties.
A Russian agent in the White House is obviously a major national security concern. Despite this knowledge and all the powers of the national security establishment Trump is still scheduled to take the oath January 20th. There must be some reason they are allowing this to proceed.
