Is there a way to stop the confirmation of nominees who have not received the

certification from the OGE? It sounds like the nominees are required to have this certification before their Senate hearings. Is this just another "norm" that the Republicans can ignore?

Protest the votes from the floor and WALK OUT! Get out on the steps of the Capitol and start making their case in front of the microphones.
Just because they will not be recognized by Ryan on the floor... does not mean they can't speak out. They have to grow a pair.

There are still enough GOP votes for confirmation, but there will be a record of why no Democrats voted YES. To be consistent, if the nominee was properly vetted (ethics paperwork in, no conflicts, etc.) AND is qualified, another justifiable reason for a NO vote must be recorded, otherwise vote to confirm. Not ideal.

No one is going to impeach, regulate, sanction.....

It's the same as asking bank robbers to politely turn themselves into the jail after they rob the bank.
