I'm not expecting an answer per se, as there are so MANY goddamned things wrong with them: stupid and racist for starters.

But seriously. Really. WHO is so fucking dumb that they have to ask a question like this? What has happened to our country?

On edit-- this would have been a KILLER just a few years ago. This would have merited such a shit storm of outrage that NOBODY would be inaugurated (ESPECIALLY a Democrat) had there been even a "whiff" of Russian poo poo. This is far beyond outrageous for somebody my age (admittedly it is outrageous for everybody), as we remember a time when, yes, Republicans were obnoxious, hypocritical, and holier than thou, but they didn't collude with Russians in our presidential elections. Godamn. That sounds like a headline in a supermarket tabloid. Jesus fucking Christ.

1. Yup, pretty horrifying.

But consider that these are pretty typical "low information voters" who will attempt to justify their votes regardless of any facts presented to them; they don't want their choice to have been proved wrong. The involvement of Russia probably seems abstract and unimportant because it doesn't affect them immediately and directly - yet.

People who feel insignificant and who will blindly follow anyone who tells them they are not, no matter who that person is.

People who fear they are insignificant and who have to inflict pain and hardship on others to show themselves that they do hold power over others.
