Hillary Clinton received an ovation on Broadway today

at the final performance of The Color Purple.

"Mrs. Clinton, accompanied by her husband, former President Bill Clinton, and their daughter, Chelsea, received several ovations from the sold-out audience as she arrived, and then another round of applause when she was acknowledged by the cast after the show."

I read it the first time and remembered it, but forgot where I'd seen it. I'd opened numerous items to read and just forgot. So a day later I go back and - D'OH!!! There it is, right there in the article itself.

Yes she does. It still genuinely hurts me to think of all that talent for problem-solving in a practical and logical manner, wrapped up in cool-as-a-cucumber, all that talent - and it's out of reach. Not available. Not gonna happen. Nope, you can't have this. And dammit, with the nasty mess this country's descended to, it's exactly what we all NEED - and need NOW!!!
