Trump enjoys an audience, a chance to indulge his big ego. They (the RNC and billionaires) need a smokescreen, something to occupy space on CNN, network news and internet news outlets, entertaining them with outrageous tweets or what have you. He will gladly spend most of his time being distracted from his real job and distracting everyone else with his petty quarrels. That and strutting around playing, "President".

Meanwhile they will be doing their dirty work, that of taking control of our democracy.

So sure, be entertained, but don't forget to pay attention to what's really going on. Hopefully our legitimate news media outlets will keep informing us. I hope our critics and commentators keep doing their editorials on the real news. And I hope enough of it gets through to voters.
