For national security reasons, should Trump's twitter account be terminated after he

becomes president?

It just seems to me that he can throw this country into chaos with less than 140 characters. And he can also produce information that will alert our enemies.

Obama was given a blackberry in order to avoid information from reaching the wrong hands. Trump has no filters so he should be prevented from communicating randomly on social media. I realize this is going to make it less entertaining for many of us, but it's about the safety of our country.

and that is to revoke Trump's Twitter account.

We know Trump's toadies will never take his Twitter away. Only Twitter itself can deny him the ability to Tweet.

Who would have the authority to do that? A President can be advised as to good practices, but cannot be ordered to do anything at all. As President, he is the final authority over things like how he communicates. He's the boss of everyone who might want to tell him what he can and cannot do.

As far as I can tell, there is nobody with the authority to make Trump stop tweeting. Someone might strongly urge him to stop, but there is nobody who can order him to do anything at all. He will be the President. He gives orders. He doesn't take them from anyone, as far as I know.

That's true. But, we cannot force a President to do or not do anything. The only people who can remove a President from office are the members of the two houses of Congress. The bar is very high for that to happen, and the Congress is now controlled by Republicans. Soon, so will the Supreme Court be so controlled.

Yes, we can put something "out there," and Trump can simply ignore it. I imagine he will do just that with all such suggestions as the one that would have him stop tweeting. He will tweet if he wants to tweet, I'm afraid.

He loathes the press so much that this may be the only way for us to keep track of his mental health.

Edited for typo.
