This week's anti-Trump Facebook post

Jared Kushner being appointed to a senior advisory position in the Trump administration? Isn't there a law against that (why, yes there is). So if you voted for Trump because of all the alleged corruption of the Obama administration (corruption that was never brought to a court of law, much less even presented to a grand jury), is this what passes for draining the swamp: Law-breaking and out-and-out nepotism?

or just to cabinet positions. There's been no decision yet.

5 USC § 3110(b): "A public official may not appoint, employ, promote, advance, or advocate for appointment, employment, promotion, or advancement, in or to a civilian position in the agency in which he is serving or over which he exercises jurisdiction or control any individual who is a relative of the public official."

In the law's definitions under section (a), "public official" specifically includes the president, and "relative" specifically includes "son-in-law." It would be pretty hard to argue that the president does not exercise jurisdiction over his own executive staff.

Or maybe this is just Jared's way of announcing that he's filing for divorce, so he won't be Trump's son-in-law anymore?

This is not a family that gives a hoot for the law. They do what they want and if there is a loophole (quickie divorce) they
will take advantage.

One post from a fake account (no history, no friends, etc.), which I called out and then deleted. The other from some ninny who said she "can't wait" for Trump's inauguration to make America great. I asked her how nepotism and breaking the law was going to make the country great; doesn't law-breaking encourage disrespect for the law?

I'm not anticipating any coherent response.

Damn, but these trolls are transparent. I'm having a little fun with them, though, before deleting their posts. Dumbasses.

Ad hominem attacks, spluttering about snowflakes, and not a fact to be seen anywhere in the latest responses. It's like someone* rang the fraud bell and all the dogs came running.
