Session? Why didn't Trump appoint David Duke

as Attorney General? After all, if you're going to appoint some racist piece of shit, why not go all the way?

The Democrats can try to filibuster him, but that could be the point at which the Republicans could do away with the filibuster completely.

My guess is that Sessions will be confirmed, and might even wear a white sheet and hood to his swearing in as Attorney General. Sessions as AG could fuck up this country virtually beyond repair.

Anyone who didn't really understand Trump until now should finally "get it." Will they? Who knows how deep the stupid goes?

On edit: If you don't know much about Sessions, here's a very good op-ed from today's Washington Post.

The job of the Democrats should be to expose all the racial bias Sessions has demonstrated. It may not ultimately stop his confirmation, but at least publicizing and exposing Sessions abundant racial animus will help.

racism, bigotry and hatred. Virtually anyone you pass in the street might be more qualified to become Attorney General.

We have an education secretary who wants education replaced with the Bible.

We have a labor secretary who hates workers and wants them to be replaced with machines.

We have a secretary of state who has ties to Russia and stands to profit untold billions from drilling in the Russian arctic.

We have a racist scumbag for attorney general.

We have an HUD secretary who has *ZERO* experience working in HUD, other than he lived in one.

Oh and every single one of Trump's appointees hate women and have been either under indictment for sexual harassment, or on their third or 4th divorce.

THIS IS NOT NORMAL.
