Trump lawyer Michael Cohen was meeting with Russian officials in August 2016

The document also makes specific claims about contacts between people working for Trump and Russian officials. It alleges that Michael Cohen, special counsel to Trump, was central to “the ongoing secret liaison relationship between the New York tycoon’s campaign and the Russian leadership,” and that he met secretly with Kremlin officials in Prague in August 2016.

Reached by telephone on Tuesday night, Cohen denied the dossier’s allegations. The story is “totally fake, totally inaccurate,” Cohen said.

“I’m telling you emphatically that I’ve not been to Prague, I’ve never been to Czech [Republic], I’ve not been to Russia,” Cohen said. “The story is completely inaccurate, it is fake news meant to malign Mr. Trump.”

Cohen said that during the time the report places him in Prague, he was actually with his son visiting USC and meeting with the baseball coach. Cohen said that he was in Los Angeles from the 23rd through the 29th of August, and that the rest of the month he was in New York. He said that his only trip to an EU country over the summer had been a vacation to Italy in July.

4. He wouldn't have a passport stamp if he went from Italy to Czech Republic.

It's within the EU. Open borders. He gets off the plane in Italy, goes through customs there, gets his passport stamped... then can get on a train and go anywhere in the EU without getting another stamp.

That's the key. The August date may be wrong -- or it may have been the first couple of days of August -- but the cover of his passport is no guarantee of anything.

Let's hope someone is subpoenaing his credit card records for July-August and his passport.

9. Okay, I've read the whole report. About 20% is confirmed already.

I figure there's about another 20% that can be confirmed without sacrificing intel assets or getting much foreign cooperation.

That's a lot of smoke.

I'm not disagreeing at all that this is important. It is. It also reads as mostly accurate, if hard to prove. (It's a lot of gossip.) I'm just saying that Cohen's lie is easily disproved, or at very least, rendered unimportant.

Makes Watergate look like stealing a block of postits and a couple roller balls.

That proves he's a liar....

I'm sure this meeting happened. There's a deeper level. Harry Reid has been apoplectic over something very disturbing that only a few people know about.

How deep have we, including the DNC, been infiltrated?

Trump has been cultivated by the Russians for over 5 years. Which other Republicans did they attempt to cultivate prior to Trump?

13. On the other hand I wouldn't let Benedict Donald's crew claim it was 100% wrong because 10% wasn't

... 200% right.

They'll do that, right now it looks like they might be up shit creek though.

I doubt if Pence can get away with an "I didn't know shit" claim either.
