http://www.palmerreport.com/politics/donald-trump-attorney-michael-cohen-allegedly-met-russia-august-blackmail-video/803/The news keeps getting worse for Donald Trump, literally by the hour, as the evening goes on. First came the news that the heads of the FBI, CIA and NSA jointly briefed him regarding personally compromising material that the Russians claimed to have on him. Then came the report of the alleged blackmail material itself, involving Trump and lewd acts and prostitutes. And now comes the accusation that Trumps attorney secretly met with the Russians in Prague in August over the blackmail material in question.
The United States intelligence community has already confirmed that Vladimir Putin and Russia rigged the election in Donald Trumps favor through a combination of hacking, strategic leaking, and disinformation. And now its becoming more clear why: Trump isnt merely a patsy who favors Russia. It appears hes being blackmailed by Russia and thus being forced to do its bidding.
If it turns out Trumps attorney Cohen really did travel to Prague to meet with Russia regarding the matter, an accusation which ABC News is as of yet unproven then it puts Trump on a likely path to inevitable impeachment. And Cohen is denying it. But this looks more like Watergate by the minute, only much larger.

(7,430 posts)He wanted his Fanboys to be prepared to summarily discredit the intelligence reports and leaks when the really bad shit hit the fan. Now it has, but it was one huge load and it's spraying all over Trumpy.
He can't stop the avalanche of more bad news now. He can only do about two things to save his ass:
1. Start a war ASAP.
2. Issue a National Emergency, instate himself as dictator, and declare martial law.
He has the power to do both, and at his discretion. But since his credibility as a patriotic citizen is in question, so is his authority. He's screwed. So is the GOP.

(3,739 posts)groupies would not believe it if/when this was all revealed. But he is so dumb that he didn't realize
he can't bully the FBI/CIA etc. like he bullied contractors, Miss Universe, women he grabbed by the p***y, etc. And the GOP "leaders" have shown their true colors too. They will turn against America if they think it will keep them in power. I question the patriotism of any person who still wants this traitor to be sworn in as President on Jan. 20th.

(1,439 posts)He attached a picture of the front cover of his passport with that tweet. As if to imply the absence of an incriminating stamp.
However, Czechoslovakia is in the Schengen zone so , depending on where you start your journey, entry may be passport check/stamp free.
Time will tell.

(20,998 posts)...OR, more accurately as another poster pointed out: more of an indentured servant. Trump has been unable to get loans in the US for years (6-7 company bankruptcies will do that to you), and has had to get cash from "questionable" sources, namely Russian Oligarchs and Russian banks.

(20,998 posts)1. Not anywhere near as wealthy as he purports, and requires "robust" cash flow to maintain his illusion of wealth AND to service his vast debt; and
2. Speaking of debt, tRump's financials would show to whom he owes money and how much. I think Putin/Russia/KGB/Oligarchs basically own tRump.

mercuryblues
(14,530 posts)of the report. Cohen made arrangements for Trump's team to pay Putting for the hacks. My bet will be daughter dearests vacation in Croatia, with Putin's girlfriend during the heat of the campaign. A suitcase full of cash.
