During the Lewinsky brouhaha William Weld was on Hardball. Chris Matthews asked William Weld who was a friend of the Clintons if Bill Clinton could survive the crisis. Bill Weld said as long as it doesn't get to the point people are laughing at him. With all the controversy swirling around Drumpf and now the suggestion he likes to watch women pee he is becoming more of a joke every day.
He is at the point where the veracity of the charges don't even matter.

Hard to do when you're the punchline to a thousand jokes.

(4,483 posts)especially a pompous one, is to make fun of him. In fact, I advocate laughing at all Trump supporters, especially when they make claims like "Michelle is a man." Just laugh, don't engage. Like we used to say on usenet, "Don't feed the trolls."
Now that I think of it, Trump has made trolls of us all. What is more fun than writing/doing things that piss him off? He reliably engages, takes the bait, feeds us trolls.

(11,009 posts)When he was bragging about groping women the reaction was anger and outrage. But the response to the idea that he's into watersports is mockery and that has a completely different resonance.

Trump should have gotten the same treatment but didn't because he was a man. But he is a bigger joke than palin.
