it is literally impossible for him, as President, to have ANY conflicts of interest. He also said he will will not release his tax returns (recycled old audit lie) and hammered home (to applause) that no one cares except for the corrupt press.

33. I am terrified for the future. So many redlines are being crossed in the last 6 months.

I do not think many can be walked back. It's not just Trump, its also the fact of an utterly dominant RW Uglican party at ever level of govern across the board, from municipalities to all the Federal levels.

If the 2018 elections (especially Senate which is a horrorshow map for Dems and could result in 60 plus seats for the Uglicans) and 2020 POTUS( thus guaranteeing a 6-3 or more likely 7-2 decade-plus ultra RW SCOTUS) and state houses (thus further RW post 2020 Census gerrymandering) the country is lost to the RW for at least 16 years (maybe, with luck we can pull back the Senate in 2024 but if those 2 elections above go badly, the House is lost until 2032 at the earliest).

3 years, 10 months to go to see if it will finally be time for millions to leave the US for better pastures. I have never been so glad to live outside it as I do now, and have since I was 2 years old, with an added 2 years in NYC several years ago.

35. most Americans have no idea how hard it is to legally emigrate to another country, especially here

in the UK or in the EU or Canada in general. Unless you have a skillset toolbox that qualifies you for officially listed shortage occupations, or have multiple millions to start a legally vested business (or a branch of your pre-existing firm) or marry a foreign citizen (and even that is fraught with perils and hoops) it is extraordinarily difficult, expensive, and time consuming (potentially several years).

If a person is elderly or has a major pre-existing illness (obviously these are the very people most imperiled, along with PoC and LGBTQ, by the new RW regime), you are pretty much fucked from the start. Come November 4, 2020, if the elections have went badly, millions will still need to try though. That date is a true inflection point (especially in the 2018 Senate races for badly for us) for the next 20, 30 years in the US if we have failed to remove the RW systemic cancer.
