I got a half second glimpse of them on the news. They appeared to be a group of older, churchy looking people. Do they have a religious connection? Has he done them some kind of favor? They are going to considerable effort on his behalf, so it seems they actively back his nomination.

The older one was one of his attorneys then went into law enforcement, ahem. This one is a former staffer. He was paying their bills, ffs.
