Even if the piddling flap turns out to be false...

... it's a great thing that the document was leaked. The only way to stop this dependency on fake news is to make him a victim.

Not saying it's fake.... Just that it doesn't matter.

The day before Trump finally has a press conference to address issues, everyone goes crazy over the golden showers and it distracts the public from Trump's actual collusion with the Russians. Is it possible that Steve Bannon could have had this leaked to Buzzfeed as a distraction from Trump's actual serious issues?

And yeah, he does not know how to feel shame for his lies and bad behavior so the only answer is retaliation. The only way to handle a bully is to make them pay immediately for bad behavior. You cannot negotiate or placate them and expect to keep your lunch money.
