http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/rt-interrupts-cspan-online-feed?utm_content=buffer3aec8&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=bufferC-SPAN confirmed Thursday afternoon that its online feed had been temporarily interrupted by the Kremlin-backed news outfit RT, formerly known as Russia Today.
"This afternoon the online feed for C-SPAN was briefly interrupted by RT programming," the network said in a statement. "We are currently investigating and troubleshooting this occurrence. As RT is one of the networks we regularly monitor, we are operating under the assumption that it was an internal routing issue. If that changes we will certainly let you know."
Deadspin's Timothy Burke posted video of the moment the interruption occurred on Twitter, writing that it went on for about ten minutes before C-SPAN programming came back online.

This has been a test of the Orange One's emergency broadcast system...
