(27,762 posts)Someone on a friend's FB thread is saying that Washington needs to immediately dump Cantwell and Murray! Hello? Doesn't that seem like an extreme overreaction to a vote on what is really a procedural amendment?

(27,762 posts)I'm certainly not going to call for their heads because they voted against one procedural amendment just because it happened to have Bernie Sanders' name attached to it.

(1,736 posts)This should have been a routine no-brainer vote for a Democrat, and the monthly budget for many, many people is impacted by prescription drug prices.
2020 is four years away. Booker's vote put drug company profits ahead of people, and it deserved to be panned, the same as one should do if a Republican voted this way.
