(59,583 posts). . . at some point during my lifetime, and Comey's the guy who screwed the pooch.
Real estate bubble? No one.
Wall Street collapse? No one.
The Great Iraq Clusterfuck? No one.
Will there ever, EVER be anyone held accountable for ANYTHING?
And what difference does it make if someone's "worse than Comey"? DeVos, Perry, Tillerson, Price, Pruitt - at this point, what's one more turd in the bowl?

(14,167 posts)He knows Trump is dirty. His former CIA pals have probably got him up to speed.
Seems to know that Comey is dirty too.
Russians must have something on Comey...

(58,785 posts)My working assumption has been that Comey may have been colluding with big money interests, which of course could include petroleum. Bet the Director of the FBI knows who Scalia was meeting at all those secretive "social" gatherings.

(5,191 posts)Comey used to work for Lockeed Martin, which has strong business dealings with both Russia and ExxonMobil.

(2,897 posts)Could you imagine Guiliani or some other Trump pick heading the FBI? We've seen the caliber of his cabinet picks. It's not going to get much better.

(1,208 posts)Don Lemon: Should Comey resign, Ambassador?
James Woolsey: If it had been one slipup, I might say 'No', but it seems as if the FBI for a while there saw itself as the Federal Bureau of Narrative Production rather than the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I can't really account for all of their public interventions and descriptions of where the investigation was going and where it was not going. That's not the way they run investigations and it's not the way anybody would run investigations.
Lemon: Do you think he should resign?
Woolsey: Well, I think it's a very reasonable proposition, given the fact that it was a series of, I think, very fundamental errors and not just a slipup.
