FUUUUUUCK that.
What the fuck are those piss drinking motherfuckers going to do about the FACT that they enabled a coup?
Who is going to hang for this?
Don't *let* them frame it as "we will get to the bottom of whether this is true or not", that's like an apology that says, "I'm sorry you feel that way" as opposed to "I'm sorry for what I did".
FUUUUUUUUUCK that.
Oh, and SPARE ME the false equivalence bullshit. This is America. The burden of liberty does not JUST end at Obama's door, or Hillary's door, or any of it.
Do NOT enable them. Do NOT think you have some burden that they never once shouldered, but still divided our nation. They threw spaghetti at a wall and broken record repeated anything that stuck until it became part of of inner vernacular.
It's high fucking time we do the same. Because while they're busy dizzying you with "prove it" or, my personal favorite, "you'll never prove it", they're gutting social security and a host of others.
They want us to HONE OUR MESSAGE, while they're HONING THEIR HACKING, and I refuse to be marginalized by motherfuckers who try to pretend that saying they fixed the election (and they fucking DID) will somehow make people less likely to vote. Maybe seeing the postmortem "Oh, no one "did" anything in Florida circa 2000, that was an angry mob irate that their voices weren't heard" By the time we pointed and named each KGOP staffer, they were already out the door and around the world with "Sore Loserman". They call themselves tea baggers, and when we are collectively laughing our asses off at them, they decide to rebrand themselves "Tea Party" and we just "let" them.
How about if we stop "letting" them?
How about we stop pretending that they play fair, and fucking call them out on it? Because there is a dichotomy going on here at DU:
1) One one hand, we're an anonymous bunch of activists, too small to make an difference, and certainly not important enough for the Russians to hack on election day
2) On the other, we aren't supposed to say 'VOTING MACHINE WERE HACKED' because our influence is so vast that it might dissuade people from voting and adversely effect our credibility.
HOW ABOUT IF WE STOP LETTING THEM HAVE IT BOTH WAYS ON OUR MESSAGE BOARD?
How about if we STOP letting them frame the fucking narrative?
There was a coordinated effort to HACK our election. Our media got hacked, duped, were complicit, were duplicitous, whatever you want to call it. The LAST thing THEY want to do is admit it, so ANY story that lets them off the hook will do.
This is why you need to stop watching them. But if you *are* going to watch them, you really, really, need to contact their advertisers and demand better reporting.
