NY times: white women Trump voters in their own words......

Interesting how little the misogyny actually played into the minds of these voters. It is so frustrating how pointing out candidate flaws in a Dem always carries such weight and credibility with voters, but when we point out GOP flaws it just falls on deaf ears with the electorate.

"Since my husband is in the military, I was concerned about having someone who didn’t have military experience, didn’t have the knowledge of dealing with world leaders. And I kind of thought he had a big mouth.

But I had an 8-year-old who was totally on the Trump train. He talked me into taking him to a Trump rally."

If your 8 year old has the ability to talk you into doing *anything*, you shouldn't be a parent. BlueCaliDem Jan 2017 #3

I don't know how anyone who says this can justify voting for Trump over Hillary, who is far more religious.

Period. YOU'RE the parent, for chrissakes!

That's just a stupid excuse for her stupid vote - laying the blame on her 8 year old and using him as cover. That's what she's doing here. "And I kind of thought he had a big mouth". Kind of?? Was this woman high when she decided to go and vote for this anti-American, pro-Russia, lying misogynist??

The suggestion that a member of a group can't be openly or clandestinely contemptuous of other members of his or her group has always been silly.

Fear of change, fear of non-Christians, fear of having no jobs for (white) people. And these people expressed a hope that Trump will find an answer. One might say that such hope is silly, given Trump's record of failure, but at least in this small sample, hope and fear are common themes.

My favorite was the self proclaimed Muslim feminist for Trump whose daddy was suspicious of Muslims. Don't even know where to begin working out that contradiction.
